Finding the right course
It is important that you know what your job goal is or the area of work you would like to work in, by matching your skills, aspirations and abilities to jobs.
If you are unsure about your job goal or the area of work you would like to work in, then we can help you with this.
Depending on your individual circumstances and needs, we offer various opportunities for you to speak with experienced staff at St Loye’s prior to training with us. Please call us on 01392 255428 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place for one of our Meet St Loye’s events or to arrange for us to speak with you on a one to one basis.
Once funding for training has been agreed you will be invited in for an assessment with a dedicated Case Manager. Case Managers are responsible for overseeing and coordinating your journey from assessment to the completion of your training programme. During your assessment the Case Manager will discuss your employment aims focusing and building on your skills, aspirations and abilities and from this confirm whether you are ready to start training for work with St Loye’s. The Case Manager will then build an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) in agreement with you. This will include alongside development, support and employability programmes, the correct type of training to suit your needs and enable you to reach your employment aim.
