Let's talk about You

Couple at St Loye's discussing training optionsWhat would you really like to do?

Would you like to start again and try something new?

Do you feel you have been disadvantaged by disability or long term ill-health?

Do you want another go?

As a starting point, we suggest you jot down a few notes on
  • What you have done in the past
  • What you liked about it
  • What you didn’t like about it
  • What you would like to do in the future
  • What new skills you might need

What skills do you have?  What would employers like about you?

You may be surprised how flexible the job market is nowadays and the wide variety of jobs that are available and that you can do.

Take some time to think about what you can do, what you would like to do and what employers might want from you.

There are skills and personal qualities that employers are looking for and there is no reason why you can’t develop them.   Have a look at the Skills and Attributes section within the Personal Checklist to see just what employers are looking for, skills you may already have and those you’d like to develop.

St Loye’s knowledgeable and supportive staff will help you at every stage and you’ll soon see how we can help lead you to success in work and greater enjoyment in your life outside work.
