Matching your skills and attributes to jobsWe will talk through
Step 1 and
Step 2 with you. We will then work with you to match your skills and attributes with:
- your interests and career progression plans and
- the job market in your travel to work area
We will also work with you to identify any skills gaps you may have and any training and support you may need.
St Loye’s has highly experienced and supportive staff trained in support and communication techniques. They will work alongside you all the way.
Case ManagersOnce funding has been approved, you will be invited in for an assessment with a dedicated Case Manager. Case Managers are responsible for overseeing and coordinating your journey from assessment to the completion of your training programme. During your assessment the Case Manager will discuss your employment aims, focusing and building on your skills, aspirations and abilities and from this confirm whether you are ready to start training for work with St Loye's. The Case Manager will then build an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) in agreement with you. This will comprise of the correct type of training, development, support and employability programmes as appropriate, to suit your needs and enable you to reach your employment aim.
