St Loye's is a partner to Working Links delivering support services to Jobcentre Plus in Exeter and surrounding areas. The programme includes:
Improving Job Search
Aimed at JSA customers with moderate support needs and people who have recently been made redundant, or are at risk of redundancy. Short, job focussed modules that focus on the following key areas of support:-
- Building confidence and motivation
- Developing job search tools and techniques
- Improving soft skills
Getting Ready for Work
Delivering more intensive support to Lone Parents, Carers and New Deal for Partners customers. Support is offered through a combination of group training activities and individual support and will include the following activities:-
- Job search support, motivational training and support to tackle additional barriers
- In work support
