  • St Loye’s Announced as Charity of the Year for NatWest Devon Commercial Banking

    NatWest Names St Loye's Charity of the YearIn April NatWest Devon Commercial Banking announced
    St Loye’s Foundation as their nominated charity of the year.

    After only three months NatWest Devon have already held several fundraising days such as an in work Tuck Shop, a book exchange and raffles  in which all proceeds go to St Loye’s Foundation.

    A team of 11 are also planning to do the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge in September, tackling Mount Snowdon in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales and Pen y Fan in the South with an aim of climbing all three peaks in just 24 hours.

    The team has also generously offered their time as volunteers at St Loye’s events and working with the community such as painting in homes of clients and clearing garden space within St Loye’s facilities.

    Louise Jones, St Loye’s Corporate Fundraiser, ‘I have been really pleased with the enthusiasm and initiative the team at NatWest Devon Commercial banking have shown.  They are so keen to help support us as a charity and their Three Peak Challenge event is a fantastic way to raise money for us and I know they are relishing the challenge!’

    Steph Tedstone, Senior Relationship Manager for NatWest Devon Commercial Banking, said: “We are delighted to be working with St Loye’s Foundation as our chosen charity this year. So far we have raised funds in our office through a silent auction, book exchange, tuck shop and also a raffle.”

    “The Welsh Three Peaks is our most challenging fundraising initiative this year. There are varying degrees of fitness within the team so we are all training hard to ensure we successfully tackle these three very steep climbs and raise as much money as possible to support St Loye’s Foundation.”
