Richard Rochester

Former Royal Marines Major Richard Rochester joined St Loye’s Foundation as Transitions Manager to oversee and drive forward the new range of services supporting serving personnel and service veterans including peer mentoring and employability skills training.

Richard joins St Loye’s Foundation after 18 years of full time military service firstly with the Army and subsequently with the Royal Marines in addition to 5 years in the reserves.

Richard said: “I am delighted to be joining the team here at St Loye’s and I am very much looking forward to building on the excellent work already done to help serving personnel and veterans.

“There is a wealth of expertise and knowledge within the charity and I intend drawing on this as much as possible as the programme develops. At the same time, I am hopeful that my understanding of the unique issues associated with service life will provide a useful dimension to the team effort”.
