St Loye’s Foundation is a registered charity and therefore welcomes any funding from Grant making Trusts or Foundations towards the work we do.

We are predominately a ‘welfare to work’ charity, we help disabled and disadvantaged people into employment. The Foundation was established in 1937 to train injured servicemen returning from the war.  St Loye’s has continued to train anyone with a disability or health condition ever since.   We are also much more than a training facility, we give personal development and support which enables our trainees to lead a fully inclusive life

We specialise in helping people who have any kind of physical or mental health condition many people also invariably have other ‘barriers’ to work as well.  We have become a much respected organisation working with those who are the hardest to help and those who are furthest from the labour market.

It’s a big task, many people who come to St Loye’s have already been through a number of programmes that didn’t work for them for many reasons, they train with us before they move on into sustainable employment and an independent life.
