Events
St Loye’s Foundation is always keen to encourage participation and support within our local communities. Engagement with our charitable work and sponsorship opportunities for our supporters are a huge part of helping us to deliver award winning services to people with disabilities where it’s needed.
We’re now planning a host of events and activities for 2013 but here’s a taste of what we got up to in our 75th Anniversary Year!
January – we launched our 75th Anniversary activities!
March 2012 – we cheered on our Paralympic Ambassadors Liz Johnson, Kate Grey and David Hill as they competed in their qualifiers for their swimming events, and our volunteer Keryn Seal with the GB Blind Football Team!
May 2012 – Devon County Show – we were there!
June 2012 – we held our Jubilee Cream Tea party in Princesshay Square, Princesshay Exeter to celebrate The Queens Diamond Jubilee and our 75th Anniversary!
July 2012 – some of our brilliant staff and volunteers were brave enough to complete a Sky Dive for us! Plus we held our 75th celebratory event at Senedd, (the National Assembly) in Cardiff.
August/September – we cheered on all the Paralympians!
December 2012 – we celebrated St Loye’s Day as the culmination of our 75th Anniversary Year at the St Loye’s Day Service Exeter Cathedral!
