SUPPORT WORKER – ENABLING SERVICE

Hours:            30 hours per week

Location:        Exeter, Devon

Salary:            £17,119 per annum pro rata

Contract:        Permanent

The Support Worker is responsible for the safe and effective delivery of community based support. The post holder will support the Support and Enabling Co-ordinator to provide the highest standard of support to people whom may have Learning disabilities, ASC, Mental health concerns and/or physical health concerns, supporting them to achieve positive and meaningful outcomes in line with their person-centred plans.  They will work as part of a team under the supervision of senior staff members.  They will provide support to meet the standards and requirements laid down by the relevant regulatory body and internal governance requirements and will work within a team of staff to ensure standards are consistent across all services.

In return for your commitment we offer a friendly working environment, leave package of between 25 and 27 days per annum plus bank holidays,(pro rata) and excellent training opportunities

BANK SUPPORT WORKERS POSITIVE ASPECT

Bank Support Workers are required for our Positive Aspects Service supporting people with Autism Spectrum Condition across Exeter and Devon to assist in the delivery of a comprehensive and effective service to people who look to us for support and enabling.  You will be working with other team members to ensure that people receive skilled support.  Strong self awareness and an ability to engage with people in a meaningful and empowering manner plus an ability to work in partnership with people who use our services along with good interpersonal and communication skills.

The Trust is a leading third sector provider of recovery supportive services for those with mental health concerns and/or Autism Spectrum Condition in Devon and Torbay and is committed to the continuing development of recovery values in practice.  You will be working with people whom live in our 2 hubs and in the community supporting people in their own homes and their local community.
