Our Patron

We are honoured to have Her Majesty The Queen as our patron.

Her Majesty’s relationship with our charity extends back many years, to her first visit to St Loye’s as Her Royal Highness, Princess Elizabeth on 13 November 1946.

The Princess won the hearts of those attending, and subsequently took the honour of becoming our patron.

Queen Visit

Her Majesty has made several visits St Loye’s through the years, officially opening new facilities and taking time to meet our staff.
